Violence Prevention Coordinating Council researched and prepared
this report for the 1996 Legislature
to fulfill the Resolutions’ mandates to prepare a report to
address the integration of violence prevention skills and knowledge
into all grades of public school as a strategy to reduce physical
and sexual violence in our homes, schools and communities.
Violence Prevention Curriculum Initiative
piloted in 5 school complex statewide through grant awards to: Waiau
Elementary School, Benjamin Parker Elementary School, H. P. Baldwin
High School, Kapaa High, Intermediate & Elementary School and
Kohala Elementary School.
